Part 2 This is a comical look at potential solutions, but they are real. I spoke to a friend who works as an engineer at NASA and he does not believe there is any reason that these ideas will not work This is a list of potential fixes for the BP oil spill crisis that is wreaking havoc across the entire Gulf of Mexico. I have been trying to contact people since May 4th, with no luck, as they have not responded to my queries. I have tried contacting: – The US Coast Guard – Louisiana EPA – Coast to Coast – BP Deep Water Horizon site – Hardball – Local News Station – Nation News – Sierra Club .etc, and no one has responded.
A dire report prepared for President Medvedev by Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources is warning today that the British Petroleum (BP) oil and gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico is about to become the worst environmental catastrophe in all of human history threatening the entire eastern half of the North American continent with “total destruction”. Russian scientists are basing their apocalyptic destruction assessment due to BP’s use of millions of gallons of the chemical dispersal agent known as Corexit 9500 which is being pumped directly into the leak of this wellhead over a mile under the Gulf of Mexico waters and designed, this report says, to keep hidden from the American public the full, and tragic, extent of this leak that is now estimated to be over 2.9 million gallons a day. The dispersal agent Corexit 9500 is a solvent originally developed by Exxon and now manufactured by the Nalco Holding Company of Naperville, Illinois that is four times more toxic than oil (oil is toxic at 11 ppm (parts per million), Corexit 9500 at only 2.61ppm). In a report written by Anita George-Ares and James R. Clark for Exxon Biomedical Sciences, Inc. titled “Acute Aquatic Toxicity of Three Corexit Products: An Overview” Corexit 9500 was found to be one of the most toxic dispersal agents ever developed. Even worse, according to this report, with higher water temperatures, like those now occurring in the Gulf of Mexico, its toxicity grows. BP says Reporters are NOT Allowed to film the dead animals from the Oil Spill. Turtles Dolphins and other creatures are washing up on shore on many beaches. US Coast Guard is preventing the media from covering Louisianas oil-soaked Gulf shoreline! CBS journalists were threatened with arrest by BP contractors and the Coast Guard when they attempted to film the public beach. BP is running the show, not the Coast Guard and the government! Americans have no freedoms in the BP Zone of influence!
Cut and Jam method can be the best way to stop BP oil spill. Best Material for the jammers is Titanium! It’s ductile and strong, Production friendly and Affordable compare to Tantalum. All detail is on my BLOG: orion62.blogspot.com Jam either the riser or the wellhead is both fine. The jam the riser just cut at the near well side and them place a ball type jammer will do. If the joint between riser and well head is broken. Just cut the pipe off and jam the well head using the tube type jammer. Tube type jammer could even be fired from a cannon into the well head and detonate. But inserting using robotic arm of ROV is best. BP should not just ask for Idea but let people know detail to give Idea like what’s the status now. How big the pipe dia. How thick what meterial like that. Video Rating: 5 / 5

Even with more than 200000 gallons of oil being pumped directly into the Gulf of Mexico everyday (thanks to BP’s negligence on the Deepwater Horizon well,) right wing wackos are still clinging to their “drill baby, drill” mantra. We’re being told that yes, this is an atrocity, but we still need that oil at the bottom of the sea floor. Mike Papantonio appears on The Randi Rhodes Show to take on the offshore drilling cheerleaders, as well as explain the basics of his class action suit against BP. Video Rating: 5 / 5
In this video posted by the Walton County (FL) Sheriff’s Department, Darryl Carpenter, Vice President of Florida-based CW Roberts Contracting and sub-contractor Otis Goodson, shows how hay, hay grass and straw can be used as a very effective environmentally correct oil spill cleanup solution. In a scene reminiscent of a primetime cooking show, the Carpenter and Goodson video shows how Coastal Bermuda and Bahia hay could be scattered over the surface of the ocean with hay blowers to absorb the oil. To start, the two men pour oil into two large pans of water, stir in the hay, add a little “wave action,” then skim off the oil-soaked hay. The audience watching the Walton County video included representatives from BP (British Petroleum), the Coast Guard and the Sheriff’s office. CW Roberts then asks BP and the Coast Guard for the chance to do a 10-acre live demonstration in Gulf waters. They were told that approval has to come from higher up, but can they say no to this environmentally correct oil spill cleanup solution, with just Hay and Straw? “We work along the whole Gulf of Mexico coastal area in Florida,” says CW Roberts president, Charles Roberts. “We have everything mobilized. We can have boats and equipment on the water in less than a half-day. We have been getting calls from all over, from people who want to supply the hay. We want to be given the chance to see if it works. If it works on 10-acres, then give us a bigger assignment.” CW Roberts, a 700-employee …
