Another Safety Failure Asserted On Doomed Rig
For months, talk has centered on a blowout preventer failing to stop powerful gases from surging up a well and sparking explosions aboard the Deepwater Horizon. Now crew members who survived the blasts said another critical safety device also failed.

May 26 (Bloomberg) — Transocean Ltd. , the operator of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig that exploded last month and triggered a leak at a BP Plc well in the Gulf of Mexico, suspended drilling at a site in India because of safety concerns.
