Local barbers help to clean up oil spill
Now, all that hair lost in a typical haircut can be put to better use than just an itch in the collar. Beason’s Barber Shop is collecting hair to send to the Gulf Coast to help with the oil crisis.

Local fisheries unaffected by Gulf spill
The ongoing oil spill at the Deepwater Horizon offshore drillingrig has caused massive shortages in the Gulf fishing operations,but the Southern Illinois fishery market has yet to see drasticchanges caused by the disaster.

Local Lab Named in Conflict of Interest Regarding Spill Tests
