NEW ORLEANS — Michele Kelley, the stranding coordinator for Audubon Nature Institute and the state of Louisiana, speaks about sea turtle rehabilitation and the unified response to the Deepwater Horizon BP oil spill at the Audubon Nature Institute Rehabilitation Center in New Orleans June 24, 2010. Audubon is working closely with many other organizations including Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, NOAA, and the U.S. Coast Guard to monitor the situation and to prepare for the arrival of stranded and injured marine wildlife.
