GULF OF MEXICO — This video shows blow out preventer modification in preparation for the Top Kill procedure. It is a series of clips taken over seven days that show the sometimes intricate work performed by Remote Operated Vehicles, which are used to modify existing equipment on the Deepwater Horizon’s Blow Out Preventer. The modifications to the pre-existing choke and kill lines were made to enable them to receive heavy drilling fluids as part of the upcoming Top Kill procedure. (video provided by BP)
