CEDAR KEY, Fla. – Retired U.S. Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, the National Incident Commander for the Deepwater Horizon Response, and NOAA Administrator Jane Lubchenco release a Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast, Aug. 18, 2010. The turtles received treatment and care, including cleaning and de-oiling, at the Audubon Aquarium in New Orleans, and at Gulf World in Panama City, Fla. Video by NOAA.
