Release of a Recovered Bird

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The crew of a U.S. Coast Guard HC-144A Ocean Sentry fixed-wing aircraft, from U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile, Ala., transports six rehabilitated birds from Louisiana to U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Fla. Four brown pelicans, one laughing gull and one northern gannet were released at the Egmont Key National Wildlife Refuge near St. Petersburg by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
