Anadarko Has ‘Wherewithal’ to Weather Oil Spill, Hackett Says
May 18 (Bloomberg) — Anadarko Petroleum Corp. , the U.S. oil company that has a 25 percent stake in BP Plc’s leaking well in the Gulf of Mexico, said it has a strong enough balance sheet and credit availability to weather costs from the spill.
