WWF-Canada Congratulates NEB for Review of Arctic Oil Drilling
OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – May 12, 2010) – WWF-Canada today congratulated the National Energy Board (NEB) for launching a full, public review of Arctic offshore drilling and safety requirements, in light of the catastrophic Gulf of Mexico oil spill. WWF has long argued for stronger regulation and safety measures to prevent and manage similar calamities in pristine Arctic waters.
