BP says its siphon is collecting one-fifth of the oil leaking into the Gulf of Mexico. But questions linger over BP’s use of underwater dispersants in the Gulf oil spill.

    No, this is not a solution it’s a stop gap measure put in place to calm the seething media, public and legislators. Anyone with any brains knows this is not going to be fixed until a relief well has successfully intercepted the existing bore and plugged it completely.
