Estimated BP oil spill size increased again to largest figure since spill began
MOBILE, Ala. — A team of U.S. government and independent scientists said that the most likely flow rate of oil from the Deepwater Horizon well is between 35,000 and 60,000 barrels per day.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — BP conceded Thursday that more oil than it estimated is gushing into the Gulf of Mexico as heavy crude washed into Louisiana’s wetlands for the first time, feeding worries and uncertainty about the massive monthlong spill.
