Chicago biologist fears for fate of Gulf dolphins
Chicago scientist to study effects of oil on the mammals in Florida Though the oil hemorrhaging from BP’s exploded offshore platform in Louisiana remains more than 100 miles from Florida’s Sarasota Bay, the spill has become the worst nightmare of a Chicago biologist who has spent 40 years studying 160 wild dolphins that live there.
